The Sivananda Yoga Beginners Course is a systematic introduction to the theory and practice of classical Hatha Yoga based on the teachings of Sivananda Yoga. Over 5 weekly classes, students will learn a step by step approach for developing strength, flexibility, good breathing habits, concentration and relaxation through:
-Yoga postures (Asanas)
-Breathing exercises (Pranayama)
-Introduction to 5 points of yoga
-Basic major asanas and their benefits
Beginners who would like to learn the basics Hatha yoga, or practitioners who would like to have a refresher course.
Commencing 2nd September 2017
5 classes (every Saturday): 2 Sep, 9 Sep, 16 Sep, 23 Sep, 30 Sep
*Students are strongly encouraged to attend all classes consecutively.
Time: 9.45am - 11.15am (90 minutes)
$125 for 5 classes, expiry date 8 weeks from 1st class.
